Hi from Philadelphia
« on: 26 Feb 2024, 09:34 pm »
Hi AC & MAAC folks,

I've been out of the game for over a decade while moving from house to house too often. I'm hoping to get a system up and running again soon.

I have Meadowlark Audio Kestral hot rods, some Ref 3A De Capo i's, a Juicy Audio Peach preamp, and a Jolida / Modwright 1301 integrated. One of the speakers & one of the amps will be for sale soon, tbd. I also have an old Oppo CD/DVD player...but I haven't used physical media in ages & want to keep it that way. I'll be doing some research on a new streaming source.

Just wanted to say hi to the folks in the area, cheers!

Welcome Max,

I used to live in Philly and across the river in Jersey for thirty years.  I've got Meadowlark Audio Shearwater Hot Rods.  He loved building upgrades.  I'm still in PA, but way further west in the Laurel Highlands.

Meadowlark now builds all active speakers, from 2-way to 7-way.

Yes, on a cost no object basis.  His subwoofer covers the 5-25hz range using a 21.5" driver and 1,000 watt amp because his speakers cover down to 25hz on their own.  Prices aren't listed because if you have to ask, well, you know.
