ncore 400 led d31 dont work, high voltage on input
« on: 22 Oct 2013, 02:34 pm »
hello people

i have just built a dual mono ncore power amp, and all looked well when i started it up, they turned on, lights went on (or so i believed), and i started checking the dc offsets.
one amp was all good, just minor adjustment, but the other not so good. the dc offset on the input was way high, 8-9v, and no way of adjusting it down.
i did some reading online, to try to find a solution, but nothing seemed relevant.
then i went back and checked some more, and noticed that the led that stands alone, D31, did not work on the amp.
have anyone have this happend to their amps?
are there any solutions, other than returning it?

I apologize if you are using this method that's been recommended by Bruno but see here for the directions.  If you are doing that properly, I think you need to contact Hypex for the best advice.  Please be sure to update this thread.   :thumb:

**Make sure the Molex connectors are pushed all the way in.**

hi mate

i have used that metode, no luck
i checked it without anything connected, so no cabling error, i checked directly on the amp
i have sent a mail to hypex, so i will see what they say
