Battery power supply

Danny,

In your recent off-grid video you said you use 100AH AGM batteries.

Have you ever tried 100AH LiFePO4 batteries with a flatter voltage drain curve ?

If so, any deltas over AGM ?

TIA

I'm very interested in delving deeper into the specifics of the battery-powered PSU setup, particularly regarding the "MACHMINI" modifications that allow it to run on batteries. I'm curious if LiFePO4 batteries could be used as well nowadays, it seems like a promising option. Did you implement a dual-battery system, where one battery charges while the other is in use, to ensure there's no downtime? Is there a Battery Management System (BMS) involved in this setup?

The video provided was informative, but I believe more details would help clear up some confusion that I, and likely others, might have.

Thanks in advance for any additional insights!

The Lithium batteries did not sound as good at all. It had something to do with the output impedance and the electronics built into them to monitor current flow.

The AGM batteries sounded better and was a lot cheaper.
