Which room or rooms will you be in at this year's RMAF?

You know what they say ... be careful what you ask for, you just might get it!

So I've been asking Marjorie for a big room for a long time now, but none were available.  We talked at Newport Beach and she said she was thinking of getting some of the conference rooms at the Hyatt, and I said I'd be interested.  By the time she gave me the opportunity to actually secure one of those rooms, Wilson and Scaena had already taken the two on either side ... leaving only the BIG room in the middle.  And when I say big, I mean huge!  it's 26'x75', Mesa Verde is what it's called at the Hyatt.

So we have a LOT of work to do in order to put together a display that'll work in a room that size.  For certain we'll have 2 full systems setup, and possibly a 3rd.  I'll post more detailed plans for what we'll be showing soon.

Go get 'em Ryan!  Being between the big players might just be a blessing in disguise.

I'm not scared of them being next to me, I'm pretty confident our stuff can hold it's own.  I'm just worried about filling up that airport hangar of a room!

That would probably do the trick.  We will have 2 channels of Nimbus White there btw ...

Perfect opportunity to be innovative.  I know exactly what I'd do.

I was thinking of a paintball arena with all that space ... a little capture the flag.

Hey, if you think that's best to sell speakers....then do it.

Looking forward to hearing your speakers in a large room - should be great!

... One request? Maybe a slightly wider music selection?  :peek:

A well-aimed paintball gun could help convince visitors not to only request Diana Krall.

That reminds me, I have a request too!  How about show go'ers ask while in a room if something particular can be played, instead of getting on the internet afterward and complaining about the musical selection

We'll have 3TB of music, all you have to do is ask and we'll find plenty of tracks right up your alley.

If it comes down to that, how are you fixed to handle a thumb drive?

Thumb drives should be no problem, we'll be using Antipodes music servers as our primary sources.

Good luck.

Wilson says they're planning "something big."

Alexias will powered by Doshi Audio with Bruce Brown of Puget Sound Studios playing tapes on his Studer A80 with a Doshi tape pre.

I think a bikini contest and free beer would fill the room.

The Scaena's will fill it if they bring the full sub package.   I don't think I've heard Wilsons in a room that size.
