Today visited the CAS (California Audio Show -Oakland CA. this was probably the smallest Audio show I have visited  :icon_surprised:, sadly not to many exhibitors , one thing I noticed this time most rooms had Digital Steamers /DAC's maybe 2 or 3 rooms that had vinyl .

I am wondering if any members on this form have had any experience with either Innous Zen  Streamers/Servers and Wyred4Sound  streamer/ Servers , some rooms did have Aurender Streamers and one  room had   Static display of  Aurender products but my interest was piqued by the Wyred4Sound room and the streamer/Server they had although the room was small with all digital and class D amplification I would rate it among the top  5 rooms I visited today that  liked

Yes Asghar, I noticed the same thing. It seems the CAS has gotten smaller and smaller over the years ... the first one, in Emeryville, was the largest and best IMO.

As far as streamers go, here's one you didn't mention: The Salk StreamPlayer Gen III. It was featured to showcase the SS 9.5's - Jim's new top of the SoundScape line.  Having the chance to hear these speakers was worth the price of admission! And they look as beautiful as they sound. Kudos to Salk Sound!

Yes I did go to that room because I do like the EXoGal DAC but was not aware of their streamer, the streamer does not have any player  but room definitely sounded good  :thumb:

CAS9 has come and gone. It was a wonderful sunny weekend in Oakland, California for one of the States' more "intimate" HI-Fi shows. Quality over quantity was/is the watchword, with attendees feeling no pressure to run from room to room and there being ample time for them to talk with the manufacturers/designers/company representative and their fellow attendees as well.

Here are some show Dagogo show reports:

and from the Audio Beatnik (the first five posts are all CAS9 related)

OMG, I think there’s something wrong with my progressives, or is that microfiche?  :o

Asghar, I have an Innuos Zenith Mk2 and found that it really improved the sound in my system (greater clarity and detail, lower noise floor). Innuos now has an Mk3 version, which is said to be even better. At Axpona this year, I heard Innuos doing an A-B comparison of the Zenith Mk3 and its new, cost no object, Statement. The Statement was better, but not enough that I would spend about 3x the money for the Statement over the Zenith.
