it's show time!!! here's the basic line up:

main room 1030 will have Daedalus Ulysses with the new AP crossovers and the debut of the new Daedalus Subs. (still looking for the right name???)  this will be a bi-amp set up with the Modwright KWA 150's for the subs and Atmasphere MA-1's for the Ulysses. will have vinyl this year!!!  Galibier TT and the Atmasphere pre!
also will have the updated CD77 from AMR (this was a big hit last year) and Bolder cables new modded Touch.
Dynamic Design will debut their new line of cables, (just got them and they are phenomenal!)

I will have a pair of DA-RMa with AP in the Modwright room  (1010), Dan has been busy this year and I'm sure will have a great sounding room!

in the First Sound room (804) there will be a pair of Ulysses with AP.  First Sound pre amp, Berning tube power, and the new Clear Cardas cables, oh and we got them an AMR CD77!!!  all tube room!

the show speakers will be for sale. I am pre selling these (the DA-RMa are already sold) email for particulars.

lou

OK, Lou, since I have enjoyed your speakers so much at RMAF I'll throw in my vote for Zeus in keeping with your Greek mythological motif, as he is also the Greek god of thunder.

Oh boy, vinyl this year 8) Can we bring our own?

Looking forward to hearing the system with the subs. I can vouch for the AP crossovers :thumb: They took my DA-1.1s to a whole new level of performance.

Laura, PLEASE bring some of your vinyl. Crate up a few hundred of your favorites and send them down to Denver

Mark,

Bring some if you can. That will give a little diversity to the music since my entire collection from the late 50's through today is 99.5% rock (all variations) and pop.

Looking forward to seeing you again.

I have Leonard Cohen's new "Songs from the Road." It's a 180g double LP recorded from his 2008-09 tour. Negative on Nora Jones and I'm looking for the Robbie Robertson. I'll give you a call and we can discuss what I should bring.

The Leonard Cohen is terrific and really captures 'unplugged' versions of his recent tour performances.

I'll probably bring the following (of course subject to change according to my unpredictable whims):

Menomena - Mines
Peter Wolf - Midnight Souvenirs
Jamey Johnson - The Guitar Song
Damien Jurado - Saint Bartlett
Neil Young - Le Noise
Jack Rose - The Black Dirt Sessions
The Cocktail Slippers - St. Valentines Day Massacre
Gutter Twins - Saturnalia
The New York Trio w/ Bill Charlap - Stardust
Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings - I Learned The Hard Way

I'd bet that this album (LP) would sound very good in the Daedalus room.... :thumb:

Neil Young - "Live At Massey Hall"

You guys have a great time this weekend and Lou a succesful one. I really enjoyed last year and wish I could go again, but it is too expensive to make it more than once from the UK.

If any of you are Audiogon members, remember the meet and greet at Garcias, over the road from the hotel on Saturday evening.

Have a Margharita for me, best wishes
    David

Hi Lou,

I wanted to tell you and Wayne how much I enjoyed working the room with you guys last weekend. You both showed great patience dealing with this "show-biz" virgin and I really appreciated it. I worked my butt off, but i truly had a good time in the Daedalus Audio room spinning vinyl and listening to Wayne's DAC. Daedalus speakers are truly an exceptional value and, as an amateur woodworker, I am envious of your cabinet work. It was my pleasure to hear the Ulysses in both your room and the Galibier room.  :thumb:

Did you get all of that upgraded xover stuffed into Thom's speakers?

Best to you and Daedalus Audio!
