Title: Anyone compared the XL Sapphire to the Ascend Sierra?

I am pretty sure going on the reviews alone that the XL will best the Sierra but was wondering if anyone compared the two directly.  I hear the Sierra is THE monitor to beat under $1K.
I am so close to pulling the trigger on a pair of Sapphires but this economy makes me feel like spending $1850 on speakers is kinda nuts, not to mention I will have to "sneak" them in the house.
