Title: KWA-100SE - bias adjustment?
Post by: PaulFolbrecht on 23 May 2011, 12:55 am
I have just acquired a 100SE (which, incidentally, I am EXTREMELY impressed with).  It does not have the high/low bias switch the manual speaks of.  My assumption is that the amp is permanently - high-bias - am I right?

(I won't be happy to find out it's stuck in low-bias - although that would make its performance even more impressive!)

Yes, it's in high bias.  Dan got rid of the low bias switch cuz no one was really using it (paraphrasing).  It's the led on/off switch now, right?

There is indeed one of those.

I might have used low-bias for standby only but I guess it's already in a standby mode when powered-on.
