Hello!
I finally got the adapter hardware here to fit the motor to the back end of the Dact switch. It worked really good! I used an off the shelf collar on the motor and machined it but for the final version I am going to make up a special collar for this application. I should have them ready in a week or 2 at the most.
The same motor I use on the Seiden switches is now on the 6 deck Dact and it can turn it - but just barely. If I turn the line voltage down a bit it craps out so it will still take the larger motor for the 6 deck version but the 2 deck should spin with the standard motor - which is good!
What I am looking for are 2 or 3 guys to try them out! If you have a Dact inside something and would like to give it a go let me know. Please only try it now if you can get to it pretty quick -as I am looking for feedback from the first ones before making a big run of the adapter plates and couplings.
Just e-mail me at john@bentaudio.com if you would like to give it a go.
Thanks!
John
