Excellent recording Tim.  This band just improves over time.  Nice work!

I have never used this site.

Do I simply download the entire show as a single FLAC file or will it look like one big album with each song in the set list listed individually?

Thanks,

George

Download the file and it will download the entire show in a folder to your computer. each song is an individual track.

you will need a bittorrent client to download the file, this program works well: http://utorrent.com/

It's really pretty simple, don't be intimidated and feel free to post any more questions here

Ok, I downloaded it but Slim Center didn't pick it up.

Do I need to do anything special?

Did you try playing the flac files in something like foobar to make sure they are ok? As long as they are in a directory that slim server knows about they should be fine. I didn't grab this show but I did grab the Mark Knopfler at Red Rocks and it works just fine. :)

Yup, it plays in foobar with no problems.

It is in a folder that has about 750MB of songs, so that isn't it either.

I even tried a clear and full scan with no luck.

I recorded it from the 15th row using Neumann km184 microphones and Grace pre's, mastered at 24 bit

I greatly prefer the quality of a good audience source over a soundboard tape. The depth and width of the soundstage, the balance of the mix and (of course) the energy of the room in audience tapes are superior to straight board tapes imo. I have lots of boards in my collection but the truly great live tapes are all audience recordings.
