Just saw this on the SB Acoustics website:

These 16 ohms woofers that are rare currently are nice to parallel four units to 4 ohms to a big amp, VAS, FS and XMAX are nice, they say designed for OB only but SPL is low 86dB :scratch:

100W will drive them to Xmax at 40 Hz. So there's no need for higher sensitivity.

Last week I ordered these woofers at http://www.compacbel.be/, and they are on the way! Some pictures in one of the last posts in this Dutch thread.

I am very curious about their performance. Using Visaton WS25e now, so this should be an upgrade  - at least much more expensive :)

Cool indeed! I am checking shipping status all the time :)

I paid 135 euros each, price withouth VAT. They are shipped directly from Denmark, where SB apparently keeps the European stocks.

Other shops seems to be more expensive

SB Acoustics is Danish so it makes sense  :D

The engineering is Danish. I actually don’t know if it’s a Danish company as such.

Minor detail anyway :) .. just good to see another company bringing an OB woofer to market.

I recently discovered these woofers. I searched the internet for forums where these were mentioned, and this the reason I signed up with AudioCircle.

I see this post now has gone cold. There's a lot to like about them on paper. and they are not costing an arm and a leg.
But I'm wondering if anyone since have used these? Likes? Dislikes?

I was considering a couple of them in a ripol configuration.
