Mine is a large blue one.

Just arrived today.  For the money I don't see how this one can be beat if you like the Kamado style.

Shipping took 4 business days.

They had a "best Offer" on one and I offered $300 and they took it.

Quality is similar to the Big Green Egg, but probably not quite as high as the egg.  It is half the price though.

It is nowhere near the quality of the big tiled ones though.

Nice grab :D

I've been eyeing up a big green egg for some time...but haven't made the jump yet.  Hope you give us some updates on how it works out for you.

  What lump are you using?

I'll use it for the first time on Sunday..or maybe I will be seasoning it on Sunday.  I'll let you know how it turns out.

I have Royal Oak Natuaral Lump (not briquet).

nuthin' like those Big Green Egg's for cookin outdoors...it (literally) smokes the competition.

We had one growing up when it was largely unknown.  It cracked at about year 10, tho.

Enjoy them steak and brews, Marbles and family  :thumb:

Good move bro. Get one of those chimney starters for your lump charcoal and you'll be set. Those things work great and they're cheap to boot. I can taste those perfectly seared porterhouses now!

hmmm ... close to the ideal shape for a speaker cabinet as I understand it.

Maybe after you've finished with it as a cooking device ........
