We will be playing some great tunes on a completely modded system in Suite 1203 of the San Tropez, just across the sidestreet from Alexis Park. We are featuring:
1) Computer audio shootout - Transports versus .wav, .wav @24/96, Apple lossless
2) Mod shootout - demos of stock gear and same modded gear real-time.
Our system comprises:
USB Offramp or Sony DVP-S7700 sources
Perpetual P-3A w/Turbomod - latest mods
Levinson #38 preamp - modded
JC-1 monoblocks and HCA 3500 stereo amp, both modded
KEF 104/2 speakers - updated mods from last year
Soundline ribbons - modded this year.
We've definitely raised the bar this year.
