Dear All @Audio Circle!

My name is Michael. 48years "young" and HiFi fan since the mid 90s of the last century.

Our current setup consists of:

- SONY PS-X555ES Turntable wired to a CREEK OBH-8 Phono Preamp
- ROTEL RC-971 preamp
- ROTEL RB990 power amp with Clockwork Audio tuning
- ROTEL RDP-980 D/A converter
- Pioneer PD-S 602 CD-Player
- an APPLE TV
- a TV receiver
- a PS3
- and a pair of B&W CDM9NT speakers

I have to save some space in the living room, so I will shrink the HiFI-Rack to a multimedia lowboard.
That means, I am having to reduce components.

Therefore, today I ordered a NuPrime IDA 16 integrated dac/amp, that will probably replace all my dear old ROTEL components - if it will beat them in terms of sound.
I am looking very much forward to that upgrade.

Thanks for the Welcome, to all.
Meanwhile I recaive my NuPrime IDA 16 and set it up.

I also did some listening sessions.

It sounds really great. More "fresh", detailed, holographic, better voices - as long as I listen to digital sources.
When I plug in the Vinyl player into the analoge In and listened to it, I have been disappointed.

The sound was really not by far to compare to the digital source.
It sound worse than with the "old" Rotel chain.

Does someone of you have similar experiences with the analog in of the IDA 16?
Can you recommend a tuning method for besser sounding vinyl on the IDA 16?
