ob5/ob7 question

Hi,
the open baffle on the ob5 looks different then the usual one i have seen, as these have the opening on the side. Do these still require lots of room behind them ? How much space do i need from the side? In addition, can the OB7 built like the ob5 with a closed back, open sides?
Are there anyone who would built these professionally that you know of, as i for sure wont be able to built these.

An early version was done with a top and back panel (lined with foam) to make it look more like a typical boxed speaker.

It was kind of a smaller version of the OB-7 Plus.



But it sounded better with it completely open.
