Your Novella must be a good copy. I know because I recently bought the world's noisiest copy!

Paul

It looked clean and in good shape. Will know for sure after the Loricraft treatment.

Pump: is the Tee Set any good or is it a one hit wonder, MA belle amie?

Paul

To be honest Paul I have no idea. This is a sealed reissue on the Picc-A-Dilly label
and I'm totally unfamiliar with this LP. I picked it up and track one is My Belle Amie
So for the modest sum of $3 I picked it up..........Bill

I'm in Columbia MO and picked these up at Streetside Records in a buy 2  used albums and get the third one for a $1 (my first dollar records ). I called the pumpkinman to get his input on which Fairport Convention album to start with and his recommendation is in the picture.

Another nice selection Laura

Yes - Liege & Lief is generally considered Fairport Convention's creative peak - Nice Catch

If you like it , it's worth also tracking down Sandy Denny's Fotheringay - this is currently on rotation in my car.

All quintessential English Folk  8)

Fairport still tour today and head the Annual Cropready Festival

London Calling, 2004 Sony Group reissue, nothing to write home about. My original (on the right in the upper photo and on the left in the lower photo) is better. Why reissue with plain white innersleeves? No song info, takes away from the album. Not worthy. There is a different reissue out there now, maybe it's better.

I love ABBA. I have the box set now, in addition to the US versions from back in the day. This is a decent reissue, faithful reproduction of the album art. Vinyl pretty quiet, not very thick. Inner sleeves have original Swedish stuff for the first couple records, really cool. Booklet is included, also cool. Very expensive on Amazon, was available for something like a day or two late last year. I don't know what gives with this concept of reissues going out of print. Did I really miss the 35 dollar Hot Rats for good????

With the exception of Libby Titus (a sealed purchase from discogs), these were purchased at Vinyl Renaissance in KCMO. Great store and the used vinyl is high quality. They clean every record on a Nitty Gritty before putting it in the rack. :thumb: My original Iron Butterfly was played, abused and played some more so I've been looking for a clean, near mint copy and finally found one. :D

The new Wilco yesterday, but the Vinyl is awful.  CD sounds much better...

New Pink Floyd DSOM tomorrow, will compare to the six copies I've got here!

Crazy...

BTW, nice score on Iron Butterfly, Laura!  I've been looking for a clean copy of Ball forever with no luck!  If you don't have it, the MoFi CD of Inna, is actually very good.

Got the Dylan set on sale shipped for 154. Mono, 8 albums, beautiful set all around.

Heavy vinyl, plastic sleeves separate from the paper ones, labels true to the original. It's great.
