The Blue Arrow does look like a good spot. Don't tell Jamie, he'll be jealous.

Thanks to Orthobiz for his posting on the record shops and to the
Vinyl Lady for taking the time to retrieve the info..............Bill

Your welcome. How about a report on the R&R HOF, did you do that in another circle?

Isn't Roxy "Country Life?" I have both American releases: the cover with the two women on the front and one without the women on the front, just the plants behind the women.

R&R HOF was absolutely fantastic!!! :thumb: :thumb: We arrived when it opened at 10 and were ushered out at 6 pm and barely got to see everything. I know you're not a U2 fan, but the U2 3D concert from the Vertigo Tour (filmed in Buenos Aires) was incredible. My first modern 3D experience. I thought Bono was going to sit in my lap a couple of times. It made you feel like you were there and part of the crowd. Good sound system too. The special presentation was "Women in Rock" depicting the history of women in rock n roll. Lot's of cool exhibits and videos. The one on "before there was rock n roll" showing the early influences that led to rock n roll was very interesting. All in all it was well worth flying 2,000 miles across 3 time zones and I'll do it again in a few years. The best part of the trip was meeting Bill & Cathy, spending time with them and getting to know them. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

I'll post some pics in my gallery.

This was my catch from the 5 record stores Bill, Cathy & I shopped in Cleveland-Akron.

Robbie Krieger, Seals & Croft and Richie Valens are sealed. Neko Case is new vinyl and DSOTM is a mint/NM MoFi pressing. The Steely Dan is a 4 song EP with an extended version of Do it Again plus Haitian Divorce and two songs recorded in 1972 but not included on any LP. Crack the Sky is a white label promo.

Laura, I think you'll like the McKendree Spring 3. A bit more edge/rock than the Tracks we listened to, and a kick-A version of Down By The River. Good thing I checked, I was going to send you a copy of that.

Crack the Sky is a white label promo.

Now you're cookin'! Actually, a lot of the songs are written by John Palumbo but he had left the group (temporarily) after their first two (even better) albums. It's their third and third best record but a definite keeper!!!
