Here's $140 worth of vinyl since mid Dec. at $1 per, with quite a few boxed sets, all the fault of Pumpkinman.

Bill,

I salute you for having the patience to look through .50 & $1 records for that gem worth keeping and playing. I don't have the patience or perhaps I've become too much of a record snob :dunno: I've gotten to the point if a used record is not mint, near mint, or VG++ at the worse, I'm not interested. I know you sometimes find gems among those .50 and $1 records. The one time each year I am willing to spend a few hours looking thorugh boxes of junk for a gem or two is at the local NPR station's annual fundraising sale. They have some vintage equipment they sell by auction too.

Enjoy your new finds.

Well V_L, he had to wait for me, so going through the .50 cent items wasn't that onerous for him. And I was jealous of the "Aja" find, it looked good.

I met him today as DD had posted the arrival of 8, then 2 more boxes of classical, but it was mostly picked over by the time I started in on it. Still, pulled out about 40 albums at $1 per, then grabbed Garcia's "Reflections" for $3.

Then Bill treated me to the world famous Yoccos for lunch, I'll let him describe that.

Then hit Ikea for a wall unit/bookcase to store the vinyl I've bought this year, as it's all been sitting around in boxes as shown in my last post.

As long as you are headed west, you might as well include Spokane on your itinerary :thumb:

Layla is more than a dupe, could be his 4th, 5th or more copy.
