I was in Tempe AZ for the Insight Bowl and visited Stinkweeds; Revolver Records; Zia; Hoodlum Records & Rockzone Records and came away with these

The two Buffalo Springfield albums are part of my quest to find quiet copies without audible scratches that weren't abused by the previous owner like I abused my original copies. Same with QMS.

Nice Laura, In A Glass House that's one I'm looking for  :thumb: :thumb:

Nice haul, Laura. Isn't that The Great Lost Kinks album? I've never seen it in person, I bid on a new copy once, but didn't go over 50 bucks so I lost the auction.

I saw a mono copy of Face to Face while on vacation but the cover was beyond trashed at the edges so I passed at 22 bucks...

3. Procol Harum / Home
7. Bad Finger / Straight Up

Great records, hopefully you have a "clean" Straight Up now!

Baltimore, Maryland 21231.
Primo Crack The Sky country...hopefully you already have the early CTS vinyl. Classic prog at its poppy best.

Thanks Paul.

Yes, it is The Great Lost Kinks Album. It cleaned up well and is in good shape. I paid $9 for it at Revolver Records in Phoenix. This is the first time I have seen it in all the different record stores I've visited over the past 3 or 4 years.

Thanks Laura. Sometimes knowing the price paid helps, especially since I'm snooping around stores all the time. And since Wayner told us about his hundred dollar XTC purchase, no one should feel embarrassed! :icon_lol:

That is vicious. I can't help it. I really like the album and it is extremely rare. I'd been happy to find it for a $1.00, but then..........what else to spend the money on?

I'm on the lookout for a copy now myself, haven't even come close! Hey, I paid 40 Euro for The Move's Looking On and 50 for a MoFi Big Pink. Plus I've got the bug this year for an RL Led Zep II...

Thanks to a recommendation from a fellow member here (thanks again Marc), I aquired this via a Discogs vendor;

The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Electric Ladyland

This copy is the 180g limited 1997 release through "Experience Hendrix", remastered by Eddie Kramer and George Marino

How can something recorded in 1968 sound so good  8)

My first copy of that album was autographed. Eddie Kramer was a genius at a console. The album features some pretty famous up-coming muscians as well.
Trivia question: anybody know the history and following story of the bass used in the open studio version of Voodoo Chile?   Hint: Jack Casady is playing in that song.

I got Dexys Midnight Runners: Don't Stand Me Down compliments of pumpkinman.
Previously unknown to me but a really likable record!

Also got the Stones early box set, compliments of me! Vinyl is really flat, really quiet.

Nice Paul! I'm not familiar with that album either, but I'm going home and listen to Come on Eileen. One of my all time favorite songs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ThWaMnlSZM

Let me know after you've had a chance to listen to the Stones. I am still not sure.
