Those are ubiquitous. Amazing how hard it is to find anything earlier than Muswell Hillbillies. With Lola being an AM hit, I'd think there'd be millions of Lola vs. Powerman LP's out there, but there's not...

May your vinyl be "shiny"  :icon_lol:

Was burned to many times at smash bay on LPs. The last time I tried it was supposed to be a mint
Cream Disraeli Gears on the plum & gold Atco label. It arrived broken, but that aside it was trashed
and I wouldn't have played it on my TT had it arrived in one piece. I hope you have better luck............Bill

todays' haul from local shop: $30.total,  used but perfect, except last one which is a new copy.
Psychedelic Furs. (First album) "Psychedelic Furs"
Waitresses EP "I Could Rule the World if I Just Had the Parts"
Dexys Midnight Runners: "Too-Rye-Ay" and
Dexy's " ": "Searching For the Young Soul Rebels"
the Jam: "All Mod Cons" (new copy)
That place has good stuff. But recently they have gone to having way more new vinyl than used in the Rock section. And the new stuff is really expensive, a few at $12 the the majority at $20 to $30. Too expensive for me! (usually.

That goes double for me $1 to $8 is enough to spend !!
Nice haul !!

And you'd have to have a gun at your head to spend $8.

Hey Elizabeth - I love "All Mod Cons", nice pickup there.

And of course Christmas Wrapping on the Waitresses!

I gotta pick up Dexys next time I see it. Reissue on CD this year. But who the heck wants to play a shiny little disk when black vinyl feels so much better.

I am vacationing in Wilmington NC and the only record store is Gravity Records. Extremely tedious going through the records...loosely alphabetized but every genre mixed. I can't take looking through Andy Williams and Perry Como amidst the rock records. Anyway, did it.

Came up with some minty stuff:
Squeeze: Babylon and On
Southside Johnny: Hearts of Stone (2 copies available, I got the Epic orangey label without the UPC code and 1A in the deadwax)
Renaissance: Live at Carnegie Hall...a great record and it looks better than my copy so of course I had to have another!
PFM: Chocolate Kings. Don't know anything about them except that they are an essential Italian prog group. This is not their highest rated album, maybe not a good one to start with, but 2.99 for a fresh looking white label promo, I couldn't resist.

Gotta go to Raleigh later in the week.

3. Procal Harum / Home
4. Clarance "Gatemouth" Brown / Standing My Ground
5. Rare Earth / Midnight Lady
6. The Beatles / Reel Music  Compilation LP
7. Bad Finger / Straight Up

I was in Tempe AZ for the Insight Bowl and visited Stinkweeds; Revolver Records; Zia; Hoodlum Records & Rockzone Records and came away with these

The two Buffalo Springfield albums are part of my quest to find quiet copies without audible scratches that weren't abused by the previous owner like I abused my original copies. Same with QMS.
