Nice catch! Do you mind to share the picture of the original Colossus vinyl so I know how it looks like?

Mine looks like the one linked here,
https://londonjazzcollector.files.wordpress.com/2013/10/pr-7079-rollins-2-saxophone-colossus-labels-1800px.jpg

I found that there is actually an earlier label, issued for just a couple of months before they moved locations...

Hit Mad Platter Records on the U of Cal - Riverside campus again, filled in more of my Tull collection, started on Roxy Music, and grabbed a Blondie title. Plus added another Pete Townshend title to what I have already.

Hit Madplatter last night, (then all you can eat sushi, may have been a mistake), and since I liked Avalon so much grabbed four more Roxy Music studio albums. The U2 title fills a hole in my collection.

Well Laura, the issue was more the 'all you can eat' than 'sushi'.

Better than the OJC repressing- not as quiet, but better detail.

Laura, I blame you personally for telling me about the 45 reissues, I now have the first two Doors albums and Morrison Hotel on order, my bank account hates you--I am enthralled, also Nashville Skyline is coming soon to complete the Dylan library, I am told that there is no plan to reissue Blood on the Tracks in 45--shame.  Hope the Loving Spoonful brings back good memories, they were a breath of fresh air amongst the chaos.

Guilty as charged. I have the Doors Rhino reissue box set at 33.3 and it sounded great until I heard the 45 rpm version on the first Doors Album. I now own the 45 rpm reissue of all but Soft Parade which I never liked all that much. Dylan 45s are magnificent too. L.A. Woman is a must have at 45 rpm.

The S & G box set. I also bought the reissue of the Concert in Central Park but forgot to take a picture.

I saw TOTO and YES in concert the Friday before Labor Day and decided I needed to fill some holes in my TOTO and YES collections. Bought these at Vinyl Renaissance in Columbia MO. Great store with lots of used vinyl in excellent condition. Everyone I bought was in mint or near mint condition and the price was mostly in the $6 to $10 range plus 25% off if you buy 5 or more used records. These were $61 including tax after the discount.

From Red Onion Records and Crooked Beat Records in Washington DC and Hitt Street Records in Columbia MO. Looking forward to listening to Toni's recommendation of Yo La Tengo

Picked up a pretty clean copy of Monk's "Solo Monk" on a two eye Columbia mono. Good music.
