I'm very seriously looking for a SOTA re-master of Joni Mitchell's "Blue".  Mobile Fidelity is out.  Where else might I find one.  Thanks.

Avalon Records, Bellingham WA. NM copies of all three records

Bop Street Records, Seattle WA. WSJ named it one of the 5 best records stores in the U.S. Incredible stock and selection, but expensive. Bob Street specializes in Mint to VG+ Records and their Bargain Bin is $10 (not for pumpkins  ). Every record I bought was NM or better. Both Todd Rundgren albums have "STERLING" in the dead wax. One TR and one Argent are promos.

I'd feel bad if he hadn't misrepresented the Polk's so much. At one point he offered them to me for $50.
2 drivers in speaker and 1 in the other are NFG. He was out of luck and time so I gave $100 for the pair
and I'll fool with them when it's to cold to do anything else.

BTW he set the LP prices. What was I supposed to do "Tell Him No"

I haven't bought too much lately, but one of my recent finds was a sealed copy of -

Kayak - Royal Bed Bouncer

This was a very cool release by this Dutch progressive band, because they took a more commercial (pop-rock) direction than on their previous releases, but somehow still remained very creative.

The songs are well written and arranged, and have a great sense of humor. And the musicianship is top notch.

I don't collect 45 RPM records but that changed yesterday at a thrift. I was looking at lp's on a rack and spotted a case on the floor underneath some Halloween decorations and started poking around inside and found about 100 - 45's inside. A lot these I owned as a kid in the 60's. Their in very good condition. I have a Dual stackable TT which I'll have to bring out  soon. Paid $16 total. There is everything from Cream, Troggs, Stones, Beach Boys, Guess Who, Sam Cook, Stevie Wonder, Mavin Gaye, Supremes, Booker T and on. Amazingly enough no Beatles.

A Flashback in a Box.

Since I found them at a charitable operation, I was simply doing my part to help others. :P
