I've been to DD quite a few times and Record Connection once a week. I've gotten significantly better buys out of the Record Connection! but you have to get there consistently to get the best buys. DD is great for more common titles, but the rare titles seem to always be less at Andys....just ask my check book.

Gene and I will be there tomorrow around 4 PM. We most likely have already run into each other at DDs.

I like the Record Connection but for me it's 96 miles one way so I don't go there all that often
while DDs is only 46 miles one way.

Probably have seen you somewhere. I have to agree with you...if I was closer to DD, I'd be there every week too. I've gotten some great buys out there on some nice releases, but that's a strong buying crowd down there and alot of his desirable titles don't last more than 30 minutes! Andy doesn't get as much, but his records don't generally move quite as fast and hence a better chance of being there when I stop in. I did buy a pile of Nick Caves and Porcupine Tree records from Record Connection...titles I haven't seen at any of the other shops in the last year or two.

I'll second PT at Record Connection, grabbed a bunch of titles on vinyl and CD, as well as Steve Wilson's latest solo project there last year. And the Pink Floyd I just bought was after looking in a few other standard haunts, just wasn't finding it. He has 2 unopened copies of the 30th anniversary edition of DSOTM if you need one.

I like it better than High Violet but about the same than Boxer.
The pressing of the 2 records is great. No pops, cracks and other weird things.

Two weeks ago at the same thrift store!!

59 lp's in excellent condition for 99 cents each! The pictures below are only a sampling of what I found.

Today, June 7th . . .

Found some old Jazz lp's from the 50's today at a thrift for 99 cents each. The covers are intact and the vinyl is in very good shape.

The first two 10" records are Brubeck first pressings from 1953 in colored vinyl.

A couple more 10".

The next ones mono pressings in their original poly sleeves. The vinyl is excellent condition. The covers are little worn.
