Darn - great prices, and I can get to Towson.

Was the hospital Beebe? I spent 3 weeks there in late Spring on a consulting gig but never went in the thrift shop.

Didn't get to Princeton Record Exchange, but found some nifty shops in the Baltimore area.

Record and Tape Exchange, Towson, MD.

25 cents each at hospital resale shop in Rehobeth Beach, DE

Normal’s Records  425 E 31st St, Baltimore

SPOILER ALERT!  This little book/record shop has the coolest Springer Spaniel you’ll ever meet.  Greets you at the door, and sits quietly at your feet while you flip through CDs and LPs.

Bill -

I got a bunch of non-white label promos as well, know what you mean.

And no one would tell a pumpkin to go 'ef' itself this close to Halloween, that would be bad mojo.

Hi Paul nice promo LP
I also picked up one. I posted it on the 6th

The B-52's is a promo of the same type (not a white label)
I come across so many I have to turn them away
You know I should change my name from pumpkinman to promo_man

I'll be awaiting your pm suggesting I go f#@k myself  :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Here are my RMAF purchases so far:

The Kinks is a tri color label Mono. I took the 45 RPM L.A. Woman upstairs and played "Riders on the Storm in the Zesto and AMR rooms. All I can say is WOW! Chad should give me a commission because I think I'm repsonsible for at least 3 people going downstairs to buy the album. Doug Sax and QRP did a great job with this album.

I think so.  On the east side of the road, next to a quilt shop and a few doors away from a Philly Pretzel Shop.
I'm also told there are other used LP stores in the Hampden area of Balmer (near I-83) .  Just didn't have enough time.

My last purchase at RMAF. Turns out this was this last sealed set Acoustic Sounds had. I could shoot myself for passing on this when it was originally issued. That little mistake cost me double, but at least I now own it.

Velvet Underground  mono box set from Sundazed. Outers were a bit scuffed but vinyl plays great so far.

My kids got that for me one Christmas...was it four years ago? I know what you mean about the out of print vinyl. It makes me nuts. I love ABBA and the box was out of print before I even knew it existed! And we all should have bought the Led Zeppelin 45 rpm box a few years back, they go for money now, too.

Didn't I just read that this is only available for preorder? It's out?

Yeah, no announcement that they were shipping. They just started showing up on people's doorsteps.

For those folks with scuffed outers, I just read that Sundazed is sending out new ones.

Scuffed outers means the record jackets/covers?

Will there be no end to the money I spend on this stuff????

I think I'm gonna wait for popmarket to have it.

Yeah, the black covers had some scuffs due to poor packaging at the pressing plant (not the shrink and padding that was agreed upon with Sundazed apparently).

I do wonder if popmarket will offer this as a bundle (though they are not faves right now since I still have no resolution on the Sabbath bundle that they charged me for and for which they then claimed my card was denied. Their customer service on this has been horrible. I communicate with a different person each time, and twice they have asked me for details that I had already sent.  Really a pain. :cuss: They haven't even been able to answer my question of how I can make sure this doesn't happen on the Roxy Music bundle I bought from them. Grrrrrr.)

Anyway, regardless of how you grab it, get this one if you like the VU!

You may even still be able to get the Sundazed preorder price of $99.

The jury is out on this one. I bought an Archers of Loaf bundle and I can't yet warm up to the most acclaimed (first) album in their catalog...

And the pleasures of Jellyfish are manifold. Reading about them, one of the band members responded to an ad for a Jellyfish musician because it was the only one that mentioned XTC.
I wonder if Wayner has any of this. This one's a nod to Laura. Thanks for hours of listening pleasure. And who better to do a version of Badfinger's No Matter What than Jellyfish?
