Davey,

Of course I have that "import" version of Wizzard's Brew! You just KNOW you're a Roy Wood fad if you love "You Can Dance Your Rock and Roll" and even "A Jolly Cup of Tea."

However, I may draw the line at Main Street...I think it's CD only and I have a CD copy, not the original CD. I mean, what kinda fan AM I???

Paul

You need the CD too Paul  :thumb: But sadly I don't own the import LP

As recommended by Jim Goulding, a NM (looks unplayed) Love Devotion Surrender arrived today along with a few other goodies as part of another great little DISCOGS order  :D

There's one in there that I know Paul will appreciate

Need to pop out now - listening will have to wait a little bit.

Right that's it - No more vinyl buying for me for at least a month

But I think in the UK that's the equal to 2 days here right ??

I just received this 45 RPM 1972 Ann Arbor Blues and Jazz Festival -- 8 single sided 12" vinyl discs.  I have not had a chance to listen to it and compare it to the original 33 RPM double album.  Typically 45's are better and I am looking forward to checking this out.  If it sounds better then the excellent original, this one is a steal at this price.

My resolve was truly tested today

Walked right passed my favoured Vinyl haunt and valiantly avoided entry  :?

It's the posters in the "Spinning Now" thread I need to be watchful of  :icon_lol:

Too many tasty recs  :D

Nice! I think you will really like The Decemberists live album and the remaster of WYWH is fantastic.

Yes - Nice selection Kinger :thumb:

Nothing like the Sun was a bit of a gem on release.
Double album 3 tracks per side, I remember when it came out the audio press swooning over it.

A good one to dig out if visitors question why I stick with this outdated medium  :D

Enjoy  8)

Thanks vinyl_lady!  I didn't plan on buying the Live album just yet and had planned to buy Crane Wife instead, but once I got to the store I couldn't help myself and had to get the new album. (I have Crane Wife on digital already.)  Have heard nothing but good things about WYWH and it's always been a favorite of mine so pulled the trigger on it.  Have heard only so so reviews of The Wall and DSOTM so not sure I'll get those.  Sure wish they would have done Animals on vinyl too.

Wanna hear something funny Davey?  I'd heard that Sting album at a friend's home and was rather impressed by it, but never knew it was a double LP :)  Even after purchasing it and reading your post I didn't believe it because the album felt so thin and light that I figured it was just a single LP.  Sure enough, once I took the shrink wrap off (was a sealed copy) and reached in there I found there were two :)
