Wow Delta Wave, quite a great haul. How is the MSFL First, Last & Always? I noticed that they will also be releasing Floodland.

I just cleaned it a few minutes ago, and haven't listened to it yet. (It's always in rotation on my work/car ipod).

Yeah! Nice Haul  :thumb:

Blackout's one of theheavier Scorps offerings
I wonder how that SAE will tackle Dynamite  :)

I'm actually listening to that as I type (Fly to the Rainbow is still my favorite Scorps album). So far, the SAE has handled everything exceedingly well.  :thumb: That is a mighty fine cartridge... The Pros and Con of Hitch Hiking sounds even more amazing.

At RadioActive again;

Mingus Ah Um Stereo - Charles Mingus
Africa/Brass - The John Coltrane Quartet
Kind of Blue - Miles Davis
Strangers in the Night - Frank Sinatra
Dark Side of the Mooon - Pink Floyd
Certified Live - Dave Mason

Immaculate copy of DSOTM, EU edition import, gatefold cover with all the goodies still stuffed in it. A reissue, I called Pumpkinman/Bill and the colors he said the original EMI-Harvest label had not the same as this, but I'm still excited to have found it. According to stevehoffman.com, I have an A2/B3 copy per dead wax markings, supposed to a better pressing, plus DOUG scratched in the dead wax.

The Kob is also near mint, I have a few of these, but you can't have enough clean copies. This is a 6 eye reissue.

I will be in Fort Lauderdale for a few days next week, and plan on hitting RadioActive to check out their jazz selection.  Can't wait!

An email from Amazon says they cancelled my order  :wtf:

The CD is 198 dollars and the LP is less than 20? Something was fishy from the get go.

How do you get all of them delivered at the same time? Are all from the same seller?

Hi Laura,
I've had a few multiple disc single orders.
Once you load up your want list you can then identify & order vendors by the number of matches they have.
Typically they have other LP's that take your fancy.
It's all too easy to rack up a 10 disc order - especially when you've got as much catching up as I have
I've said this before - reading the posts here continues to be bad news for my wallet  :D

But boy am I having fun  8)

When you walk in the door, hit the New Arrivals rack that will be right in front of you first.

The jazz section isn't extensive, and any quality offerings are over priced and the vinyl kinda banged up. For example, Coltrane's 'Impressions' is there in a VG++ to NM cover, but the vinyl is at best G to VG, and he's asking $30.

Any deals will be in the New Arrivals, you can see the Coltrane I just bought in the pic below, this was posted on his FB the day before I got there. The rest of the jazz is in the row stretching to the back door you see behind the New Arrivals.

Shara Worden: My Brightest Diamond's first album. They are playing "only" 100 miles away in about a week, I might go to see her, they are playing with the Calvin College Orchestra. Not totally my taste, but live music is live music, eh?

First record. Total Power Pop; he is still active with his older group, The Doughboys, playing constantly in greater NYC. I'm looking forward to this one. I have Cornerstone on CD, recommended.

Newest My Brightest Diamond record. One listen and I say it's midway between Joanna Newsom and St. Vincent.

Guadalcanal Diary's third (I think). Good Georgia rock, IIRC.
