I went to 4000 Holes today to pick up the two Jellyfish albums, one on green vinyl and the other blue. First time on vinyl in the USA. Also picked up the new Fray album.

And while I was there, I couldn't help myself  Bob had just acquired some nice used records about an hour before I arrived. This brings my BJH collection to 3, my Renaissance collection to 2 and completes my Procol Harum collection.

Already have this on CD, but enjoy it so much that I had to own it on vinyl.

That is a great album Kinger. Last year at RMAF we did a vinyl/CD comparison of Clamity Song on a good system with a good DAC and a good phono stage and the vinyl was more natural with a fuller musical presentation.

Yes, the CD is certainly more clear than the vinyl, however I prefer the presentation of the vinyl.  As you said, it has a more "natural" feel to it.  I also feel that on the CD version the vocals are a bit hot and that's not the case with the vinyl copy.

I'm gonna get them both...allmusicguide compared them to The Move. I don't need to know anything else.

I thought you would like them. I must confess I had not heard of the band before either. While I was in 4000 Holes Bob was playing these catchy power pop tunes and I asked him who is this. He said Jellyfish and told me about the band. After hearing a few more cuts, I was sold.

Ordered my two Jellyfish records from Amazon peddler. They seem to be scarce, maybe some stores have them but eBay is spotty, too. The seller I used is based in Michigan of all places. I wrote to them but there is no bricks and mortar store, just an e-business.

Am anxious to hear them...I pretty much like nearly everything Laura likes.
