Had one of those moments today when I discovered a new artist that blew me away, doesn't happen very often I'm afraid, this artist was recommended to me by an old rocker I met down the pub very briefly the other day who was really into Warren Zevon, a couple of clicks later I'd ordered his hits cd, amazing stuff, if you love American rock you must give him a try.

I know I'm a little behind the times here, his first album was 1969, but I guess it's never too late

I agree with you on Warren Zevon. He was a terrific singer/songwriter. A close friend who died a couple of years ago had requested that Zevon's song, "Keep me in your Heart" be sung at her funeral. Very, very powerful. That particular song is from the album, "The Wind".

Hi Tony,

Funny you should mention 'The Wind' as I've just finished listening to it, what an amazing album, considering it was recorded with Warren knowing he had terminal lung cancer, some of the songs are very poignant.

An amazing sounding album aswell, one of the best I've heard on my system, plus there is a duet with my Idol, Mr Springsteen

A highly recommended album.
