Title: Legacy Marquis XD
Post by: lgjr on 30 Jun 2020, 01:27 am
My greatest fear of purchasing the Legacy Marquis XD over the Marquis Hd that I own is the law of diminishing returns.  I know it has better drivers(tweeter, midrange) but; will it sound better.  Different doesn't always mean better.  It's an expensive upgrade so any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Starting Block is really for people to introduce themselves. This thread is best posted in Enclosure Circle, so I'll move it there for you now.

Is it possible to audition them at a dealer?  https://www.legacyaudio.com/audition/domestic-showrooms/

No, would have been first option and most ideal situation.  Would have brought my Marquis hd with me.

Legacy Audio has great customer service.  I would contact them and explain your scenario, if no dealer is close by. They may offer a return for you. You may have tp pay shipping, but...
