Extending a VESA TV Mount
« on: 22 Oct 2016, 04:30 pm »

I have a current setup similar to what's shown below. As you can see, the center channel is too low. It's there because that's the only place it will currently fit. I'd like to have it on the top shelf of the TV stand, but it's too tall to fit under the TV with the TV mounted as high as it will go. I need about 4" more space between the TV and the top shelf. Surely this can't be a unique problem, but I'm having trouble locating extension brackets that might work. Any ideas?

Looks to me like you have at least a couple of inches play in that mount.

What would happen if you flipped the parts that are directly attached to the TV, does that give you more or less room?

Nevermind, that wont wok at all..
