Looking for opinions, I have the green light from my wife to build a new set of speakers. Currently I have the first model A/V-3 w/sonocap upgrade, my first choice is to build a new set of AV-3 since I use my system for HT 95% of the time. My system is AV-3 front, Paradigm atoms rear, Hsu Research sub w/500watt amp, Marantz AV Reciever. No center channel my system sounds better without the center even though I have a AV-2 center. Here is the question build another AV-3, or AV-2,or AV-1 or the Criterion which way would you go?
By the way anyone interested in buying a set of A/V-3, in a natural cherry veneer. good condition $175.00 plus shipping:?:

Hi,
I sent you a PM regarding your A/V-3s for sale.

Given your HT useage, I definitely vote for a pair of A/V-3's. I built a pair of first generation A/V-3's for a local customer of Danny's. He and his wife used them mainly for music, and once I dialed in the placement, the customer was very pleased. Several months ago, I built a pair of the new transmission line generation of A/V-3's for myself. I listen to music and also watch movies, and these speakers are unbeatable combination HT/Music speakers at anywhere near the cost.

Thanks Hank, I've been focused on the new AV-3's since I like my older version so much. Jim
