Hi there,
I have a Cary Rocket-88 that I really dig, but I don't really have a pre-amp right now that does it any justice.
I have read on a few forums that this amp really likes a pre-amp that has a bit of gain, but I really don't know about the validity of that.
I was originally thinking of using a passive pre-amp as basically just volume attenuator between my tube CDP and the Cary . Any input would be appreciated.
