I've got the older SW-12A subwoofer design with the passive radiator in a 2.4cuft box built per Danny's specifications.  As I don't have any woodworking capability, I was wondering if it were possible to upgrade the design to the newer servo offering.  I figure if I remove the PR and glue a tile on top of the hole, I could convert it into a sealed box, with the extra volume not being a huge factor for the new sealed servo alignment, but I was wondering if there were any other simple options.

The air space would be a bit on the high side. They need no more than 1.8 cubic feet of air space. You've got a pretty nice woofer. I think I'd leave it in tack and just start over with a servo sub in a new box.
