Just stopping in to say hi and to introduce myself.  I love music and the gear that produces it so basically; I'm just an audio addict like everyone else here.

Ive been kicking around in the Audio world for a few years now and have accumulated a lot of (mostly budget) gear. At this point I'm looking to get some ideas and hear what people are listening to. Of course I'll be keeping my eye on the classifieds as I continue to fine tune my system.

We love to spend other people money, so if your room is small I would like to suggest a hi sensitivity +98dB speaker and a small integrated tube amp to connect to your source.

Loudspeaker could be two way as Klipsch or Tekton Lore or a DIY single fullrange driver if you have a handy carpenter near you.

Thank you for the welcome and the advice. Always appreciated. My listening room is 18 x 24 but unfinished (concrete walls). Also, the left wall opens to another room;  so you could say that I have some issues to address.

Currently I'm running some Aragon Palladiums through an 18k preamp and pushing the sound through some B&W 802N's. It all sounds pretty great, even with the room issues. However like many others, still on the prowl to find something better.

I haven't heard the brands you mentioned so will have to try to get a demo somewhere.

These items I mentioned are much less expensive than your current system, the more priced from them are the Tekton Lore.

Tektons are fantastic speakers. But I would stop where you are and start addressing the room issues instead. It will be money better spent.

This is a big room as you know a small tube amp and a single driver will not fill the room.
