I've been a user of a stock Transporter for last 3 years and recently purchased an earlier Modwright upgraded (circa 2009) unit without the Hyperdrive and Bybee upgrades.
I *think* I heard that the price of this Platinum upgrade was around $300 originally but it's since gone up to $500.
I hope to hear from folks who have gone through this upgrade path and get some impressions. For instance, given that I currently use the RCA 6SN7 GTB tubes, I could go the path of upgrading to Black Treasures for a fraction of the Platinum upgrade price. Choices...choices.....
