Sorry, don't know. Perhaps Klaus will answer your question. I've always been amazed at the very nice integrated amps that use cheap pots like the Alps, Alpha, etc.
However, if I was getting a Cyclops, I'd pay the extra to get a Goldpoint attenuator in place of a cheap pot.
The input impedance of the Odyssey amps is a bit low for using a passive, but that's just me. I'd want at least 47k. Maybe others will give their opinion.
