Newbie here with a new to me Super Alnico 6" XRS

Hi Guys

Just introducing myself here.  I've read many posts on the virtues and sound of Omegas.  My middle brother a few months ago acquired a custom designed Super 8 XRS and totally loves it. Then my youngest brother acquired a Super 7 XRS MK2 a couple of weeks ago and I totally loved the sound.  Now two weeks ago, when I acquired the new to me Super Alnico 6" XRS I'm totally blown away by the music presentation.  Running it on my Primaluna Dialogue Premium, Topping E30 MK1 DAC and Music Hall MMF-5 with a Sumiko Blue Point EVO III and the Schiit Mani.

Cheers

Welcome to Audio Circle.
Omega is officially a family affair.

Were you up all night listening?

Welcome  :thumb:

Omegas are probably the most underrated speaker out there. What you get for the price is astounding.

Hi I am newbie to single driver speaker as well and found Charney Audio Maestro X first but no doubt Omega is more price friendly. How does the hemp driver compare to the Voxativ 1.6 driver?

Thanks!

I believe Omega moved on from hemp drivers years ago.  Louis found materials that he preferred over hemp.

yup no more hemp. my experience is omega will get you very close to the uber expensive full range drivers. and if you aren't a fan an easy resale. don't cheap out on sources  :D
