Hi Boris.
You might have seen my numerous posts about my misadventure with my
Bellari VP-129 tube phono stage.
I've tried every possible scenario to solve my interference and hum problem,
but a few days ago, I've thrown the towel, I gave up.
Too bad.
In my previous house it was running perfectly, no hum, no interference.
I love (Made in USA) tube stuff, but now I have to think differently.
My other problem is my extremely limited source of income,
which is now only my retirement fund.
In the past my wife business was doing good,
but now with the Vietnamese recession which don't seems to end,
I can only rely on my personal income.
(Please no pity for me, that's life!)
I went surfing on the Internet, I saw a few units prices between 50 USD to 150 USD
with good reviews,
but reviews for me is now as useless as pair of tits on a leghorn.
I don't want to be a cheap skate and invest 50 USD on a unit and find out that I am not happy with it,
that would be like throwing 50USD in the garbage.
The Vista unit at 299 USD is a good deal,
but for me 300 USD is a lot of money, believe me or not.
I was wondering if you will hold on to your special price of 299 USD until, let's say,
October, when I will get my reimbursement income check?
It's not even funny to be cash strapped like that, never really happen to me before.
I will order the Vista with the 120V wallwart,
because I have here 120V/50Hz from a Majik Buss line conditioning unit.
Sometimes I am hesitant about spending 300 USD on my turntable set up,
because I don't really listen that often to my LPs.
I just finish cleaning/washing all my 80 vinyl collection and 80% of them are 30 years old,
minds you, they were not played often...
Well that's it for now, I will get off your hair now.
