Very cool. And where did you get the room treatment?

there's a Sonex dealer where I live (two, in fact). the panels are velcro-attached to a mdf frame and hanging on the walls. the grey cilinder at the left is a rolled carpet, medium thickness. you cannot see the leather sofa in front of the speakers, which is part of the room tratment, judging by how it feels when you're sitting there and feel its vibration  :)

[They are probably the best sounding speakers listed so far in this thread.
Was the design entirely yours or you used some Audiotechnology design/guide?
What did you use to measure them?
And where did you get cross-over?]
Yes,the design is entirly mine and I am using the older LMS for measurement "LMS version 4.0" www.linearx.com
And I bought the crossover about 7 years ago from the "PASSLABS" dealer in New York wich is no longer a dealer.
It has been a long time and the best way is to find out is through them www.passlabs.com and also you can see the 36 pages owners manual under customer support

Wow. Can you also name the best sounding room pictured so far in this thread?

Nap.
You got a problem with someone’s expression of an opinion, even when based on decades of experience with a wide range of speakers, including DIY, and benefits of active cross-over?

PMC FB1i's w/ 7BSST2. I have been requested by mclsound's cardiologist not to post a picture because the sight of that tweeter seems to elevate his blood pressure dramatically.

Do you have a problem with your claims being challenged?

Nap.
That was not a challenge based on any fact or informed opinion but rather BS that contributes nothing to the discussion.
That brings to end my discussion with you.

Very cool. I bet it's very effective. How much do the Sonex panels cost, please. Thanks!

Nap, you need a picture* and decades of experience looking at pictures to support your audio claims/challenges.

*A rough sketch will also do. Cartoons are acceptable if they're detailed.

What an idiotic and juvenile comment.
My opinion was based on design, driver selection, cross-over, not on a picture.

I believe the moderator should step in and put an end to these idiotic, juvenile and offensive posts that are in no way related to the subject.
I exchanged some information and opinion with specific person, and not with these juvenile idiots that are making mockery of this forum.
