« on: 21 Feb 2012, 04:43 pm »
Hi, Vinnie,

For those who are waiting with bated breath, any progress report on the Lilianas? Is there a new ETA?

We getting really close now - there have been delays with the enclosures and batteries, but we're finally getting them in getting ready for production.  I do apologize for the delay, but it will be well-worth it in the end - they are AWESOME!  8)

Next month is definitely the month they are shipping!!

Cheers!

Vinnie, what's the knob for on the front of your prototype? And will it be there in the final production model?

The knob connects to a 3-position rotary switch.

Position 1 - Liliana is OFF and charging

Position 2 - Liliana is ON battery power and charging at the same time ("AC mode")

Position 3 - Liliana is ON battery power - charger is internally disconnected.

Note - just like our power switches in our other components, the high battery current feeding the amplifier section does not go through the switch.  The switch just sends a single to the SMART section of the amp board that switches the power via high current relay.

Yes - it will be there in the final production version, as will black anodized spike feet.  The tips of the spikes are removable, but we'll also provide "spike dishes" to protect furniture.

And the top cover will have our logo silkscreened on it, and in the top circle will be a rotating glass window for smooth and easy tube rolling  8)

Thanks for the update, Vinnie! Am hugely looking forward to a detailed account of these, including how (and why) they may upstage the Signature 15 and in ways other than what can be ascribed to just bringing to the table a higher power output.

Vinnie, hope I am not jumping the gun! These won't happen to come with both RCA and balanced inputs, will they?

Hi rlabarre,

They have a single-ended input (RCA).  At this time, no balanced input.  This is something that we might consider offering in the future...

Best regards,

Vinnie
