The most important question Vinnie, is when do we get to hear all of these good ideas?

Don't be holding out on us  :D

I believe a LFP-V powered Class AB (or even Class A) will attract many potential buyers.

Just thinking out loud here. Would it be possible to build a higher power Class A amp using 2 chassis? One chassis can fit 4 batteries (like in a maxed out Black Lighting), the other chassis can fit the tube module along with the rest of the components. That should provide lots of current.

Hi AudioAddiction,

All in good time - all in good time.  8)
Stay tuned for the new RWA website release next week.  This will just be the beginning...

Hi Tommy,

Welcome to Audiocircle and the RWA forum.

I've been way ahead of you on this one.  About 2 years in the making.  No need for a separate chassis for batteries, but definitely monoblocks on higher voltage LiFePO4.  LFP-V, discrete AB, 8-FETs per channel, so LOTS of current! :weights:   Definitely by the end of this summer...

Thanks for all your posts,

Vinnie

How many watts will be in pure Class A?

Hi Tommy,

The tube input stage is pure class A, but the discrete FET output stage is Class AB.  This design puts out a clean 100wpc into 8-ohm, 200wpc into 4-ohm, and is 2-ohm stable.

Can't go into more details at this time - just take my word for it - these monos are in their own class!

Actually - I did some fine-tuning and am now getting approx. 112wpc into 8-ohm and approx. 225wpc into 4-ohm.

We'll finally be in production next month - we had delays with the enclosures.  They are really nice and has a new window the slide open on the top (built into our logo) for easy tube rolling.

The sound is far better than anything we've done before and I can't wait for the formal release next month!

All - thanks for joining us on facebook and signing up on our email list to stay in touch with the latest and greatest!

Stay tuned for more great things!!!  8)
