A buddy of mine has a "Phantom 3 Pro" that he's flown as much as two miles away from him.
Not sure why you couldn't take screen shots from the HD video it takes. Plus, his drone has a "view screen" on his remote so you can see where you're flying to line up the shots. His first couple videos are amazing.

Yes - really enjoyed it.  Would love at some point to get a drone and a camera.  There's a wooded preserve right behind me and it would be something to get better shots of stuff like:

I don't know if there's a way to put different lenses on any of these. But I'd just wonder Phil, the drones do seem to have fairly wide angle lenses so I'm not sure that wildlife is the best subject?
