Title: Omega speakers, R compound

I have seen that some Omega speakers have an "R compound" upgrade. As I understand it, this is some kind of supplemental liner inside the box? I don't see any mention of it on the Omega website. Can anyone explain what this is?

Yes, it's a high density material lining the interior walls. It makes for a more inert cabinet.
