Just wanted to post a few pictures of a fully modified and customized ASL Tulip that I am finishing up for a customer. I just received the power coated parts this morning and wanted to snap a few pictures before putting it back together and getting it ready for testing. The amp is heavily modified as well with V-Cap OIMP capacitors, Riken resistors, Bybees in the input signal path and a whole lot more.
The finish is 99% gloss " ------ Blue". Sorry, that ones a secret.

Delicious looking AND they match my speakers exactly! If they sound as pretty as they look...

The amp was custom built to pair up with a custom pair of Cain & Cain Abbys. I have custom built a few of these amps now but this is the first one with the custom powder coat.

Hi Shep, Well, everyone that has this amp absolutely loves it but at only 3.2 watts, it's not going to do anything for your speakers at 85dB.

Anyway, with the options he wanted, this amp was $2700.

Here is another custom pair of amps I did (for the same customer in fact). The pictures don't do these justice though.

Engine turn the top of the chassis, air brush some flames down the sides, add some side pipes and you're cookin' !  8)

Nice job on the amps BTW.

Cheers

First I have to give the powder coat credit to Cayuga Powder Company up in Ithaca NY. He actually delivered these pieces to me in person this morning. You will see more of his work show up in my products this year as there are a few more custom pieces in the works. Sorry, can't tell right now :nono:

Maybe I'll take some pics under the hood in the next few days.

Thanks Al. believe it or not, it took over 20 photos to capture the true elegance of these amps and the pictures still do not do them justice. Not noticeable in the picture is that the chassis is polished stainless steel (Chrome finish), a very nice contrast.
