I picked up a pair of older M3 Holograms. I would love to take a look at the crossover. Does anyone know what type of parts were used on those and what type of hex head I need to open up the binding post plate. Looks like there is a small post on the hex screw to keep people out😁

I have the M3 Turbo S, so what I did was take a picture of the screws and I found a set of bits at Lowes that fit. In my case, I ended up replacing a few of the cheap crossover parts--huge improvement, but you will need to have an exterior crossover because the space is so small. I also removed the speaker grill cloths and replaced the screws holding the speakers with brass screws.

Thanks Ric. I think I found a set on Amazon. I have replaced parts in box speakers before. I’m curious to see how things are arranged in the baffle with so much less space. I’ll take some pic and post progress if there is something that may be of interest to others.
