Probably in the 95db range but I'll know more once I test the drivers.

 Sheesh.

This is a custom kit design so I won't have any cabinet pictures until my customer provides them. His cabinets will be a large floorstander but it also is possible to make it a 2-pc. cabinet with a woofer module forming a base for a midrange / tweeter cabinet.

Rick-
Sounds like from your last post you are providing drivers and support for someone's project. I assume that these won't be available for an audition.

I will have just one for audition since all testing will be done in mono.

Please update

The cabinets (complex faceted fronts and some other tapering) are being built by Del Won so I won't have any pictures for awhile. If you have any other questions pertaining to the design please feel free to ask.

What is the estimated price for a pair of speakers incl. drivers and cross-overs?

Thanks Mike

This isn't a kit that I'll be sellling since the woofer and midrange drivers can be purchased directly from Acoustic Elegance.

Acoustic Elegance 15" and 6.5" mid plus a RAAL 140-15D. We looked at the cabinet size / tuning for a ported box and in order to get a flat response the volume was very large. The sealed box is much smaller and measures very well plus we can add EQ from the MiniDSP as desired to further extend the bass.

Even with DSP, I have to imagine a subwoofer will be augmenting output below 40-50Hz, yes?

Probably not necessary in a normal listening room.  With DSP, that 15" woofer will have in-room extension into the 20s with ease.

No subwoofer since the extension can be tailored with the DSP.
