Disaster film fans will love "Greenland", other viewers like me will be hoping the main characters would die already and put us out of our misery.
Greenland has enough of emotion and panic for two films, this is like bad luck piled on top of bad luck while racing to get to a secret bunker before the big bang. The escape scenes are actually well done and the film probably accurately portrays what would happen if you found out you and everyone else had 48 hours to live (I would be on the roof with the party crowd watching the fireballs).
Gerard Butler with his thick Scottish brogue and burly build barrels his way through the chaos.
Morena Baccarin is a persistent mother protecting her son. Morena is the reason to watch this film. Her early roles were in "Firefly" and "Serenity" and has been in "Gotham"and "Deadpool".
All in all a well done "B" movie action flic. Make some popcorn and enjoy.
