Cambridge Audio DacMagic Plus is the best dac under $700. I purchased this at a local Seattle dealer while waiting for my new dac to arrive. The first thing my wife said is it's nice to have music back in the house after I installed the DacMagic Plus. The sound is quite good, smooth and no digital glare. The DacMagic Plus has select-able filters and phase inverter. This has a headphone amp, preamp or can be bypassed with the push of a button. The list of features is huge.
