OK folks newbie post but a good topic. What is everyone's experience with finding a good 12 or 15 inch low cost woofer for a open baffle design. looking to use one or two per channel. Maybe 10 inch if it was 2 per side.
Could be a panel , H Frame or a W Frame. Graphs on most Goodwood and similar low cost replacement show real bumps at 40Hz or roll off far to fast at 100hz for pleated surround "pro" types.
Alpha 15 seems to be the preferred one but I think there are better lower cost options. What are they and where would you get them?
