Title: 1st RM30 Order has been placed!!
Post by: John Casler on 12 Dec 2003, 05:51 am
Well as a testament to the confidence audiophiles have in Brian, I have received the first order for the RM30.

In fact it is for 3 (a trio of) RM30s.

All I can say is "right on"  VMPS'ers

And "Right On" Big B. :notworthy:

Strangely enough I would have to ask, "What are your gonna do next year" to top this.

But the answer is, I already know

You are such a tease!!!

You really should divulge all you know -- right here, right now -- because you never know.  By this time next year, the big one might have hit and Califrornia will be at the bottom of the sea.  So, it is only right that the information be saved for humanity.

And if the order was for three, does that mean a TriP was involved?

Just bored, waiting for those pictures.

I hope this was the solid Unobtanium version.  You really want the Unobtanium!!

Three days into breakin the RM 30 is sounding quite fabulous, with only the "theoretical" xovers installed.

The pix are on disc and J Romeyn should post Sat AM.  One of these days I must learn how to post pictures here. Of course I can barely find the "On" switch on my $599 Dell....

Unobtainium?  I thought you couldn't get that stuff.  Man, the prices look even better now!

Did you have to pay a lot for a new bit to cut the unobtainium?

So are these that are sounding fabulous with the theoretical x-overs using the graphite woofers?  And is it an M version?

As for that Dell, the "on" button is usually on the front, but the way some of these designs are these days, your difficulties are understandable.

Now, back to work for you!

Brian,

Can you compare and contrast the 30's with the RM2's, the RM40's, and the 626's, or is it too soon to really tell?

Of all the speakers I've heard, the RM 30's are certainly one of them.  Compares to speakers costing more!!

I guess I can wait a month, until after CES and you have the final voicing of them  8)

In honor of Soundguy3 the "voicing" will be bass-baritone.

NeoUnobtanium is used on the cutting tool heads.  What were you thinking?
